# Place a Manual Trade

Once you've entered a market, the bot displays the **Market Dashboard**:

* **Market Name** — the question being predicted
* **Prices** — current Yes and No prices
* **Stats** — 24h volume and liquidity
* **Order Book** — live bid and ask levels
* **Trading Panel** — action buttons below

For some markets, tap **More** to see additional related outcomes. For example, in a sports match you may find options beyond just the winner — such as spreads, totals, both team tp score and more.

### **Step 1** — **Select Outcome**

Tap the outcome you want to buy. Depending on the market type, this may appear as **Yes / No**, **UP / DOWN**, or a **specific team or candidate**.

### Step 2 — Buy

**Market Order (Buy)**&#x20;

* Executes immediately at the current best available price. Best for speed and ensuring you don't miss the trade.
* Default quick-buy buttons are available at **$50**, **$100**, and **$200**, or tap to enter a **custom** amount.&#x20;

**Limit Order (Buy)**&#x20;

* Set a specific price you're willing to pay. Best for controlling your entry price and avoiding slippage.
* Input:
* Tap **Bid 1 Buy** to place a limit order at the current best bid price from the order book,&#x20;
* Or tap **Limit Buy** to manually enter your desired price and amount.&#x20;

Pro tips: Specifically for sports markets, outstanding limit orders are **automatically cancelled** once the game begins, clearing the order book at the official start time. Always monitor your orders closely around game start times.

### Step 3 — Sell

**Market Sell**

* Sells at the current best available price.
* Default sell amount is **50%** of your position, or enter a **custom percentage** manually.

**Limit Sell**

* Follow the prompts to enter your desired **price and sell percentage** to place a limit sell order.

### Step 3 — The Opposite Side Panel

Below the main trading panel, you'll see a trading panel for the opposite outcome. To bet on the other side, simply place your order here — the same rules apply.

Note that **Bid 1 Buy** becomes **Ask 1 Buy** here, because the order book prices for each side are mirrored. For example, in a Spurs vs Thunder market, buying Thunder at Bid 1 (43¢) corresponds to the Spurs' Ask 1 price (43¢) on the opposite panel.

* **Default Manual Trade Template** — Adjust your default buy amount and sell percentage under Buy / Sell Setting. See [Settings → Buy / Sell Setting](https://docs.polycop.ai/other-commands/settings#buy-sell-setting) for details.
* **Manage Limit Orders** — Tap `/limit` in the bottom-left menu to view and manage all active limit orders across Copy Trading, Manual, and AFK.
